Small Painted Cubes, 1983
An invitation to play.
My fascination with painted cubes started in the early 1980s. These were among the first, made in 1983, with paper, fabric, and string and they currently live on my mantle.
They inspired me to carry on with a few new ones – shown in the video.
Wouldn’t it be fun to make a batch of these with Mr. Calder.
